- WOUND DEBRIDEMENT - Swift-Prep is a hydrophilic polyurethane grooved foam pad with a hydrophobic polyethylene semi-rigid backing. Super soft, fibre free and highly absorbent. Swift-Prep are silicone plasters for wounds, helping to remove necrotic tissue, slough and undesired fluids without causing patient discomfort. Acting as a contact to the wound layer, Swift-Prep acts an instant foam bandage, preventing the injury becoming exposed.
- TYPICAL USE - Swift-Prep is tailored for use for venous, diabetic and pressure ulcers as well as healing post-operative wounds. Alongside surgical uses, a Swift-Prep silicone foam dressing can be used for absorbing cellular debris, wound exudate and debridement. The dressings are designed to conform to body shape, allowing for maximum comfort for the user. Swift-Prep are available for use at home, care homes and hospitals.
