The Tetra® Whisper® Internal Power Filter for 5- to 10-gallon aquariums uses medium Tetra® Whisper® Bio-Bag® Filter Cartridges with Stay Clean™ technology. Tetra® filters feature quiet operation and effective three-stage filtration: mechanical, chemical and biological. The filter cartridge floss screens out dirt and debris. Ultra-Activated® carbon inside the filter cartridge removes odors and discoloration. Our premium wood-based carbon offers superior filtration power, clearing odors, tannins and dye more effectively than coconut shell-based filters. Finally, biological filtration works to eliminate toxic ammonia and nitrate. The powerful Tetra® Whisper® Internal Power Filter motor filters up to 85 gallons per hour. Stay Clean™ technology helps reduce buildup on aquarium glass, binds small particles to make them easier to filter, and helps stabilize pH to promote a clean, healthy environment for your fish. The Tetra® Whisper® Internal Power Filter’s space-saving design is easily hidden by aquarium decor and allows your aquarium to be positioned as close as one inch from the wall. The adjustable, universal clip allows for a variety of setups to easily adjust to high or low water levels.
